Im pushing a proposal for the ability to script an object so that it can freely detach objects, clothing, skins, and shapes from an avatar and also attach them.
The reason for this is so that those of us who have large numbers of outfits, costumes, and avatars can swap them around at the click of the mouse thanks to developments from HUDDLES and such who would undoubtedly use this ability to make modules for those exact uses.
And to prevent greifing from this type of ability, it could be made so that only scripts/objects worn or used by user A could only effect objects and clothing attached to user A. With the inability for user B to effect user A's worn objects and clothing it would keep the other users from intended greifing or unintended mix ups.
I think this would be a very nice addition to SL's already wide scripting ability range, and given what other scripts can do in the game it doesn't seem like it would be all that hard to impliment.
Thanks for reading. :3
The proposal number is 1718 for any who'd like to vote in favor of it. n.n

I think it could only be feasibly done from the items inventory, getting the asset server involved would probably be impossible

Perhaps if the scripts only accessed items/apperal tucked into the item along with it? AO's for example that'll use poses that are put in the object along with the script. Would that still require access from the asset server?
