So, I was looking at SL Answers just now, and a teen posted saying they could see the main grid forum, and his signature is 'Put this in your signature if you want the teen grid to be 24/7!'
Now, I already knew the teen grid wasn't 24/7, but I hadn't thought much about it before. It suddenly occured to me that if I were a teen, I'd tell the teen grid to take a long walk off a short pier just for that reason. Especially for teens who live overseas. You'd have very limited access and SL wouldn't always be there when you had time for it. When I was a teen I got a lot of my best work done very early in the morning before everyone else got up or late at night after everyone else went to bed. 'We're sorry, the teen grid doesn't open until...' Fuck that, seriously.
Does anybody think we'd have less teens on the main grid if the teen grid went live fulltime? I'm guessing it's not because LL doesn't want to hire extra graveshift liaisons for it.

According to the Teen SecondLife FAQ, the teen grid is open 24/7 now.

Take that problem along with the ability for a teen to sign up for the main adult grid with no age verification and you have a solution "in some of their eyes". If I was a teen and especially if overseas, I'd sign up for the adult grid just so I could have some access to SL.
