Log in lag

Ok, I know we're all up in arms over the ToS, however, my problem is the LAG. Logging inand crashing soon after, nothing rezzing, can't move, can't do ANYTHING. Can't even change my preferences to lessen the lag. My house NEVER lags for me..and no sense in changing my location since everywhere else I know of DOES lag to some extent and I'd be horrified by the lag there. PLease say others are having this trouble and show how widespread the problem is or isn't so that we can get something done about?

Clear your cache in preferences before logging in and restart the client.

Me too! I have the exact same problem and i came to the forums to post the same thing. When i log in, everything is superfast, but superlagg at the same time! I cant chat, i cant move, i cant interact with anything, but i can still IM but superslowly, its really annoying and its been like this for a couple of days now, i have no way how to fix it.

I've been trying, but the lag is bad even then. I thought it couldn't possibly be them, must be me. Checked my whole system. It's not me. I'm waiting right now for the tab to clear cache and have been, took a full 2 minutes for the Preferences box to pop up to start with.

If I can finally get there and get it to work, I'll have your SL baby....but atm I'm frustrated and ticked off. I just want to get it to work so I'll win and go to bed lol

Ok, there was a *very* slight improvement, as in now I can see my jewelry my av would be wearing if you could see her. Other than that, the lag is exactly the same.
