I was wondering if anyone was having problems with slexchange.com. I was silly and all my lindens are in that place, and I've not been able to get in there all morning to take them out.
I've got to stop leaving all my lindens in there. I'm so silly.

We had a server outage today while no one was around to fix it. Things are running smoothly again...
Growing pains! The web server ran out of memory. Apparently there is a known problem with the particular linux kernel that is running on that box. It likes to freeze up if memory gets tight, instead of killing low priority processes like it's supposed to. _____________________

With all due respect Apotheus, the stability of slexchange.com has been poor for a long time now - every day there is at least some down time and recently there have been some extended periods of it as well. I can only think that the hardware you have, or the technical backup you need, isn't cutting it.
It's making slexchange.com look decidedly shabby. _____________________

I too think slexchange is excellent but it is often down in the GMT morning hours.
It is currently down as I type this at 9:15am (GMT +0). |

No problems with the sl-ex on my side too, only that sometimes the currency page have broken images of the current market states.

In general SL Exchange works well, other than it gets slow at times and seems to be down quite a lot. I had few customers trying to buy something and would get an error message saying that my item doesn't exist on SL Exchange, even though somebody else bought it just a day before. Which is quite disappointing seeing as they never came back. Not sure if they know about the issues SL Exchange was having at the time, or just thought that if I am unable to set up my products properly, they might not be worth buying.
