Just came across this.

They should also hire Nyna Slate and her Prim Posse Security detail to assure the prims stay off and the lag stays down. They have it down to a science for the U2 in SL concerts.

Wow, it's nice to know that my band is still remembered and as far as I know, and many others, we were the original SL band and even Bub would acknowledge that one. *proud grin*
But, I guess I should add that I'm still around, just been busy moving into a new place and trying to get my own computer system so I can jump back into SL. Thanks Valiant and everyone who's supported our music (Incl. the SL Hurricane Aid that asked us to perform) and offered advice about how to set up as I'm still trying to get resources together to turn a double garage into a rehearsal area with internet points so I can finally give you the live rock band again. *grin* But Duran Duran? A lil' bit before my time but I do enjoy their music and appreciate their work, but they're not the first band to be live in SL, nuh uh. Mwahahahahahaha. See ya soon. |

Hehe, yes The 'get naked or we ban you' always works Okay, maybe not naked, but: take off your HAIR, your prim attachments (skirts? jewelry? necklace? etc.), shoes, and so on... |

I love the fact that big names are coming into SL... but it simply turns me off when there's a declaration "The first to....da da da" It upsets me especially when LL overlooks the BIG that is already happening in order to promote their next big thing.
It really bugs me when anyone says "the first big da da da..." because, it's not! We've all been doing it already! _____________________

The point is anyone who did the firsts probably joined in 2004 or earlier....
There's no newbie that can just waltz in here and claim they're the first.... They may be bigtime in RL... but in SL, it's a whole new game. I'd rather go to a Wicked Karma Live show then see a RL "famous" performer anyway. Famous in RL dont mean famous in SL!!!!! who's with me? Take the stand now! _____________________
