There I was, trying to repair things messed up by the update and talking with a friend, then BAM "You are being logged out, the sim you are in is going down"! I can't log in now, it says it can't find a sim. Now what's wrong?

And by the way, I hate this update. Screenshots are blurry, lag is even worse, text is weird, and when I try to type, my avatar moves instead! Good greif, roolback please!!

Grid just shut down for a "fix" with an ominous warning of putting back into your inventory anything you've put out today.

Rollback anyone?

Oh, another thing that's broken: The pie menus. Everytime I right-click something to edit it, it jumps to the second menu, so I can't edit anything. I don't get angry easily, but this is just plain stupid.

Rumor from a friend of mine who is a very good scriptor points to something in the core scripts being broken from parts of this update. I'm not sure if that true, or even what that means, but it doesn't sound good.

Hoping the fix is easy, or they can just rollback to the last working system.

Dude, you are a true and good friend, and I love you like the brother that my mom claims she never had, but you are in fact acting like a flaming douche on white toast with a side order of dickknob salsa..maybe you should reconsider this course of action and we go find something else to do.

noob question. I sold a few items tonight - will their money be returned and my items returned?

Good thing I put off going to that sale. :/

I've learned not to do much of anything on an update day: build, buy, move things around.

It did for me the last time. Item gone, money back.

It seems that every so-called "update" brings more problems then they were before the they did it.
They use up a third of the day every Wednesday and still they can't get it right. Now they just chased everyone from one sim to another until finally shutting down the entire game.

Finally, when we're able to return-who knows when that will be, it'll be doubtful anything really important has been taken care of.

SL is the only game where the updates are in badly need of updates themselves and they too need updates also.

What the updates need, imo, is testing longer than a damn week. Go back to weeks/months between updates unless it is something that is very speedily needed. Like a fix to prevent duping L$ or somesuch.

Gripe, moan, complain, gripe!

Sorry. I just wanted to join in.

Psh. Maybe the two sales I made just today will be rolled back, too, but I'm sure if the person who bought them wants them, he'll just go back and pick them up again. And so SL is down for a little bit. Meh.

What's the big fuss?

Hmm ... well, if that's true, I'm not too fond of it, I have to say.

Yeah they need to spend longer with updates on the Preview grid before they bring them on the main..

Major..

Problem is not enough people go over to test.. When I do go to test, all i see are punks trying to be as "mature content" as they can be in a PG area...

And a bunch of chicks hanging right where you land.. god forbid you bump one cause THEY are in the way..

Love them little TSO left over mafia wanna be's lol..

There needs to be more people.. and by that I mean serious people to test...

I Hate Wednesdays!!!!!

I might just sell the land I've bought and downgrade to a basic account, this seems too much! All morning, now the afternoon, it's getting customary to have a grid down on weekends for many hours. At this rate we won't have grid whenever we want but whenever they let us, so, maybe it's better to have a free account and pay rent for a house, that will save us a lot of tier payment.
What would happen if all the paying accounts came to the same conclusion??? Would Lindens finally listen to us and stop making this upgrades instead of fixing previous versions??? Would be nice to know.

Why is it... when everything i buy goes into objects folder but when i rez it on the ground it shoots straight off into Lost & Found???? i have enuff probs finding stuff in objects without having to trawl thru L & F too....It was bad enuff when hubby *accidentally* returned over 1500 prims to that ....thought of ripping his head off but hes a man ya gotta make allowances i guess *grin*
anyone else experienced this? erm NOT with my hubby just objects transferring themselves lol
