You know what was really great? Testing out my new vehicle in the vehicle sims (Brilliant, Fortuna, Fame, Bethel, Balance and Georgean) which is one of the only areas left on the grid where you can actually fly without lag, or bumping into huge buildings and ban lines and oh! Guess what. I smashed into a ban line there which bumped me and made me have to relog. There is an art show happening in Brilliant and apparently they thought it was appropriate to slap up ban lines in an area where people enjoy flying around and using their vehicles. Surely there are better locations for these events  |

There are six totally empty rental sims just south of the Lake District. Fly there.

Or fly around where the Baffin island is, there's a ton of empty water sims there.

Also, if we don't have a place to fly and test ships out then we are forced to make laggy scripts that do things like, detecting invisible walls long before we get there. Or shooting invisble bullets that send data back to the ship about the sim ahead of use, for example. Just so we can fly without being booted. But that makes flying a game of 'dodge the home security orbs.' And that makes more lag for everyone. Not fun.  But we ship builders might be forced to do this as a standard soon.   |
