My SL husband and I just rented an area of land on the same sim as a club... We have one of those TV's with the radio option in them, is there any way to use the TV without it resetting the clubs music stream?

For you to have individual media control, the parcel that the rental land is on has to be subdivided from the main parcel of land. I personally wish the Lindens would develop a media boundry, which would allow you to designate a certain area in a parcel, anywhere in the XYZ coordinates of the land, as a new media zone...instead of having to subdivide land and have that sudivided piece have new media options from the ground level up to 768m...but thats just the way things are right now. I mean if they can code in Buy Pass barriers, surely they could give landowners media boundries as well. Maybe someday.

If you're on a separate parcel of land, which I assume you are, sure - the streams are all independent. You can change your stream without affecting theirs.

Thanks Suzanna, thats what I thought. My husband was all disappointed because he wanted to have his new toy in there but when we tried to set it up it reset the clubs stream (good thing I work there huh?) So we fixed it and took it down... Guess we'll just have to wait til they allow media seperation LOL
