I just bought a new piece of property, and there are several objects on the property from the original landscaping, which was quite good...trees, grass, etc. Most of those belong to one person, but there are 8 prims which belong to someone else. Is there anyway to locate where those 8 prims are so I can see what they are before returning them?

CrystalShard Foo makes a device called the Scan-Foo. Buy one and read the manual carefully. It's a trick to learn to use, but extremely valuable for these purposes.
Good luck Denrael!

One thing you might try first: you can view transparent objects by pressing ctrl-alt-t. That might help you locate something that is just invisible.
