Haha, maybe they use punched tapes for data storage and someone tripped over them.

Those downtimes actually remind me of the times when servers were just laid out on the floor without EPS and stuff and when we didn't have such things as SLA with ISP/data centres.

On that note, isn't it about time we had an SLA with LL to be compensated for those downtimes without prior notice? ...Maybe not. It would only make us irritable if we expected LL to provide what 2006 internet service providers would, and irritation is bad for your health. I would just sit back, relax and pretend that I'm living in the early 90's and dealing with a garage company. :p
