OK, happy time!

What do you like the most about SL?

Mine:
I get to express my inner self;
Meeting new friends and hanging out with current friends;
I have a wardrobe I could /never/ afford in RL;
Positive body image! My self-esteem has definitely cranked a few points;
Seeing people's wonderful creations;
Everyone is a great dancer;
Building/sculpting/crafting for myself;
Amazing, delicious, and moving architecture;
The PEOPLE! Personalities and avatars both.
The opportunity to think in new ways and about new things.
The inherent creative culture of Second Life.

How 'bout you?

i don't like it today..

but any other day, the wonderful amazing things ppl come up with.. the guns, all the way to sitting on a bed, all the scripts, its just all so amazing to me.. maybe cause im not that clever.. hehe

I'm still new, but I guess what I'm liking most right now is being able to look and dress however I choose and not have ppl saying "she's too old to be dressing like that"...whatever. AND I have a body in sl that I could only DREAM of in rl. :D

I like being able to create the things that physical damage prevents me from doing in FL.
I love the visual world full of people from all over the Earth, old friends, new friends and friends yet to come (especially one lovely bloke from the UK).
I can fly.
I can dance.
I can walk through a gallery full of artwork by people I know or want to meet.
I can put my own in!
I can be as silly, as solemn, or as wicked as I choose and no one will try to incarcerate me for it.
I can appear however I want, though I'm still working on my foglet avatar.

...I can be myself.

I like being able to DJ and perform live for a vast, receptive audience. I love DJing, and have a strong passion for music that is usually not heard by most. I'm glad I can push the sound, and people from all over the world can party and jam with my tunes

Let's see...
I like to be able to go here, there, anywhere with a few clicks of my mouse.
I like to change my whole appearance several times a day if I see fit.
I like sitting on towers chatting with my friends and making new ones.
I like doing several jobs which pay for my SL experience to be free, free, free!
I like meeting like-minded kooks.
I like costume contests daily, and adore a good costume.
I love shopping!!!!!
I love being a DJ at hot clubs!

There's more, but I only woke up an hour ago...

Tatiana, You look great in SL and I am sure you look just as great in RL. The main point to remember is that true beauty is inside, anything on the outside is just icing on cake...smile.

I like everything about SL but mainly the fantastic people you meet and become friends with.

George....you are the sweetest! I was so lucky to find you here to help me along the way as a newbie. Meeting great people like George, V, Sio, and several others is probably the greatest thing about SL so far.;)

I like the ability to get on the forums and demand that Linden Lab give me 0.05$ USD compensation for downtime due to lost sales from my bling/gun/napalm suppositories business when I'm not even a registered account or own land.

For the ingenuity and accomplishment of so many residents that you can meet and interact with on a one-to-one basis

For the ability to interact with people from around the world and invite them to my home :-)

For the ability to really be myself, whatever that may be at the time

For all the reasons SL is often more "Real" than RL

- Having a realtime 3D world in which to spend time with a good friend who lives halfway across the country.
- The ability to do just about everything in real life without having to spend nearly as much money.
- Having my own house at age 18, again, without having to spend nearly as much money as RL.
- The ability to customize anything (except UI, unfortunately >.<;)
- Did I mention the realtime 3D world?

I have an av ruler which is free that I can give you. You can check your height in SL at anytime and make adjustments for shoes, etc..... I am so happy I was able to help you and you can IM me at anytime if you need anything. Hugs
