Just Figured

I just figured I would make a thread saying thanks to the Lindens. No Seriously thanks. No hidden sarcasm, no anger, no joke.
THANK YOU!!!
I love SL and even down time gives me time to draw, clean, fix my comp up. Do things I may have been putting off cause I was so busy on SL.
I don't want money or fame. I could care less about compensation. Or missing out on a party. These are things I once took for granted. But I am here for friends not money.
Thank you, you made SL and are trying so hard to keep it running smoothly for us all. Its gotta be tough.
I am sorry to all of you who make a living her on SL it does suck to be stuck in the dark, and for those with major plans I am also sorry. But think about it this way. Now when people get on you will be flocked with buyers who have been waiting to get to your stuff.
Or that party might run without a hitch since the attack happened before hand.
I am sorry for all those who have been really hit hard by this. But we do owe all the Lindens a very BIG thank you for making and keeping SL up and running.
To the hackers with nothing better to do.....extend the middle finger and enjoy. Cause we will be back but not them.

agreed the fact that i am so upset it is down, is perhaps a sign of how much i love SL.

Yeah who needs to be productive when you can click a mouse and make someone else be more productive?

I definitly love SL. . . .I almost get sick of the whining at times. BUT there are alot of people out there obviously mad.
I mean come on, why get mad it will be back.
I don't think I can ever be mad to something that had brought me such joy.

I takes a good person to put aside the bad stuff thats going on and still be thankful for what we have. Your an inspiration to us all!!!! *Sob*

Well Said I agree 100%....People have to understand the things that allow these attacks to happen are also the things so many of us love about SL....We all love the freedom to build and create new items and If they limit or disallow certain features its not only to malicious AVs it is restricted or limited for EVERYONE.

Thank you for having SL, I have spent way to many sleepless nights here but I have loved every minute of it. I know you are doing your best to stop these attacks and I appreciate all your hard work at bringing the grid up as soon as is possible.

Thanks all you busy busy lindens, I hope you aren't pushing yourself too hard. If you want to take 23 hours to fix the problem, maybe spend most of it relaxing and maybe playing some air hockey, then feel free..

No, serious. I think you should take as close to a day off as you can just to give everyone who can't stop complaining some time to steam clean.

amen, i can't do what the lindens do.....so i'm glad their fixing it and not me. the grid being down is a mixed blessing, gives people time to do rl stuff and the sl vendors will have tons of business. i know i am buying stuff when i get back on for my house, and some new shoes.....lighten up folks

Well, I'm not to much about words here but all I'll join to these comments on thanking the SL people for the hard work. How I say in the game many times.... WWWWOOOOOOHHHOOOO... Lidens!!!

I fully agree I could and would never in ages be able to do their jobs. And yet not get bothered or bummed about all the rants and raves they hear when downtime occurs. Its like no one cares TILL it is down.
Then the war begins at who can bash the Lindens the most.
I for one would not be able to.
Sure be mad, sure get upset, sure pound your fists into the monitor.
But it is not thier fault they are doing all they can. This is bigger then anyone even thinks, and to get it all at once is tough.
It's like this when someone hacks into you, you wanna make all these changes to protect yourself.
NOW imagine doing it for over millions of SL users?
WOW now thats a stressful job. Name the addy Lindens and I will send ya some pizzas and beer for all the work you do.
