Have you checked where your 'landing point' is set on the land there ?
Make SLurl match the landing point setting if you have not done so - or vice versa. _____________________

Yes I have an on the site it shows Le Cadre, but on the map in world it doesnt target anywhere... This is your problem: http://slurl.com/secondlife/Le%20Cadre/58/220/33/?title=Le%20Cadre You cannot have a space in the name of the sim (%20 is HTML code for a space). Here is the correct way to specify Le Cadre as a location: http://slurl.com/secondlife/Le_Cadre/58/220/33/?title=Le%20Cadre Whether making a SLurl or a secondlife:// link, always replace the spaces in a sim name with the _ character. This only applies to the link itself - the other space in Le Cadre is fine because that is the display title. _____________________

The SLurl works for me (currently from my home computer).
What is/isn't it doing? Is the link not starting SL? You may need to check some security settings in your browser. I got a warning (havn't done an SLurl from this computer before) about it launching an app for the secondlife:// address. Cris: %20 should work! Url encoded strings are the better way than underscores, please. Support for underscores will have to go away eventually, and should have already. If you have a case of %20 not working please let me know - kelly@lindenlab.com _____________________

If you have a case of %20 not working please let me know - kelly@lindenlab.com Considering that Second Life links have always required a _ for anything with a space in it, why would you suddenly break compatability with links that are already out there? The vast majority of links are still in the secondlife:// format, as the SLurls are an extra step for members. _____________________

The secondlife:// format has supported %20 for over a year now I believe. As we move towards more international support, proper url escaping will need to be used to handle international friendly sim names. The underscore character as a replacement for a space is a bad hack. It may be that we are stuck with it forever now, but it is still better to use standard url encoding to ensure future compatibility.

Which url is working for you Kelly?
And the one I had made the first time would show Le Cadre on Internet Explorer but when you clicked teleport and went back to the SL client, nothing would show up, cus as regeion it shows "Le" and not Le Cadre... And the one Cris made, nothing comes up, it says error on page _____________________

^ I did have this problem before with regions with multiple words, for SOME reason... I am not sure what fixed it.
Did you also try that SLurl in different web browsers? _____________________

I tried Internet explorer and MSN, so what url is actually working for everyone, now I am more confused than I was to begin with.. lol And can you teleport there? _____________________

The first one worked for me, when I had clicked the teleport link while Second Life was not running. It caused SL to start and I logged in directly at Le Cadre.
With SL running just now, it opened the map with a marker on Le Cadre. I am using the Firefox browser however. _____________________

I remember this thread, and just wanted to update:
Please use %20 as spaces in your SLurls, *not* _ (underscore). %20 translates to a space, in case it looks funny to you. The SLurlbuilder by Ordinal Malaprop automatically works this way at present. And you can learn more about What is SLurl? For example: WRONG The short answer is that this is the proper, standards-compliant way to do it. The long answer is detailed in this document--thanx Mark Linden for the link!secondlife://Sandbox_Newcomb RIGHT secondlife://Sandbox%20Newcomb Support for underscores in SLurls is planned to be dropped soon, so please be sure to update them to %20. Would not want them to break! =] _____________________
