What would you make it do? shop for you? keep you active? log you in twice a week for $ of hours? Personally, i'd use mine as an automatic gesture organizer and better search engine for our folders.

A program that downloaded my inventory, organized it. Gave thumbnails of inventory in subfolder collections. (took out the trash, optional) sorted duplicates, new folders, and anything named "object" into a sort folder. Then re-uploaded the entire inventory at no cost to me ![]() _____________________

I'd use it for the same reason I own anything: to impress chicks.

Mine would.
- find camping chairs for when I'm at work - find *ingo/cardgame events and learn to beat them - relay my IMs for me at work via IRC or gtalk - retrieve and store scripts from inventory - relay chat and speak for me, across gtalk to SL so I can still control scripts and talk to people. |

hehe, there.com has a bot for every skill outthere, and most games ban the creation and use of bots. Think my first ever bot came from Asheron's call, called da buf bot, instaead clicking on 30+ different buffs, used one command line and one button press in game made perfection, BUT it was a banned item till after they saw how to abuse it in the actual system. Star wars galaxies was 2nd I played to use dancer bot macroing, allowed using all your sills over time, kinda ruined being entertainer to me when you just saw everyone afk all the time instead working together to rubb away fatigue on your stats.
WoW encourages most utilty programs to enhance the gamer's doings and only endorses ones that do not affect game play for self or others. I wonder what will be nest for SL when coems to doig things, but ther is no possiblity to replicate a bot to create generic clothing, or AV's or build things...as of yet...MUHAHAHAHA!!! |

I'd have it call(ok e-mail) my boss and tell them I need to leave work for a personal emergency, so I could log back into SL... Daily

What I'd like to be able to do is script controls. Maybe use a control knob to turn my avatar instead of having to use left and right keys, or foot pedals for moving. Hook it up to a DDR mat so I could walk and run by walking or running on the mat. |

Let's face it, bots are useless in SL since we can use newbies for doing anything at a ridiculous 10L$/hour rate.

What would you make it do? I would make it count out, place, color and optimize prims to make map art based on an image I uploaded. |

I'm hiring an entourage of n00bs (or anyone that is willing to cheap) and maybe some paparazi to take photos everywhere I go as well. I'll need bots to keep them all in line. _____________________

Non-Linden bots should be illegal
03-02-2006 20:20
What would you make it do? shop for you? keep you active? log you in twice a week for $ of hours? Personally, i'd use mine as an automatic gesture organizer and better search engine for our folders. Any bot would be used to game whatever "rewards" system the Lindens choose to implement after the demise of DI, just as campers are using macros and other tricks to game the DI now-- and since the campers are pretty much exclusively newbies with freebie accounts, they will soon find themselves forced to upgrade or get a SL job to support their slot machine habits. |

We have scripted cardboard dummies for that. Heck, I just made one for my complaints department. Just teasing. _____________________

I would make it count out, place, color and optimize prims to make map art based on an image I uploaded. I think that's already been done. If not, it'd be fairly easy to do. |
