The question is simple:

Do you personaly think that AnsheCorp is realy someone at Linden Lab?

*Note the reason I am asking is not to sell newspapers, create drama or what not. The reason I am asking is because I honestly am wondering what the general population thinks. I know what I think but I will not influence the outcome of this poll by stating my opinion here.

I don't understand any of it either.. Are you saying the creator of AnsheCorp is a Linden Lab employee and if so, what gives you that idea?

Linden Labs wouldn't allow it, you'd have to get rid of your in world bussiness' to become an employee I believe..

I see the correlation! The Linden tree is very important in German history! Venerated even!

Sometime during the Middle Ages, a Prussian tribal leader was pardoned by the ruling Teutonic Knights and thanked God by placing Mary's likeness in a local Linden tree.

Also in Germany, the tree was thought to bring fertility and prosperity!

Having personally met both Anshe and her husband at SLCC, I can definitively say no, Anshe and Linden Lab are not the same thing. No one's that good of an actor, even if there were a reason to pretend, which there's not.

Out of curiousity, why would you think that someone might think they're the same?

I think you should consider restating your question. Possibly it should contain words such as 'collusion'?

I lived on Linden Strasse in Neu Ulm a long time ago. I am not Linden Lab either.

As for the "starting drama" disclaimer... I try not to throw gasoline on a burning house.

She's not an employee of LL.

Taking Anshe's profits into account, could LL hire one or two non-technical people to do the same job she is doing by offering managed themed sims and make enough profit to make it worthwhile?

Versus:

Using Anshe as a poster child for "You too can become a RL millionaire in SL." Plus, LL passes off the hassle of managing tenants to Anshe.

I guess we will know when LL is really in financial trouble and they need every penny they can get is when they coop Anshe by offering their own managed sims and screwing with land rentals.

Being that Anshe Corp does nothing to hide their RL identities I would say no. I do suspect some other content creators/vendors of being LL employess during the day, but Anshe would not be one of them. She often gives her RL info to the press (along with her husband/partner) and they also had a strong presense at SLCC.
