Bad Buisness tactics

Well,let's see I pay good money for membership to second life,and i think I should be able to enjoy myself,but due to bad buissness tactics,it's kind of hard for everyone or anyone to trust in deisgners and prefab house makers,things like that,when you say your gonna refund someone do it,don't come back with gee,i don't recall the conversation,when said document was provided to said designer,who has no recollection of ever getting an im and it was saved and sent to you,come on now ,do you honestly think that people are stupid and do not save anything,its bad buisness ,and checked said designers shop theres no sign or post saying NO REFUNds.maybe a rant but point made I didnt mention any names here though i would love too.thanks for your time,Jaynie Kennedy

Problems with makers not supporting products is a big problem these days. many do but then there is alot that don`t. Welcome to the new sl

I have been in SL more than a year now... and so far I have had no such problem.. many of the designers have become my friends to.
I often tell them what I dream of. What I want and yes.. funny very often I get it - or close to..
I think and I hope that SL stay a friendly place... and 99.999% will stay as designers with a good customer care.. PLUS that as many stay friendly... helpful and nice to all of us.. We all need (ok some maybe not) help at different times.. and the complete manual of SL dont exists.. so.. lets stay helpfull and friendly!!
But as at all places that grow fast and can give money (small or large sums) the shitty ones find them and use it for own purposes.. We are not allowed to ”hang them out” so the only ones that can take care of them are the abuse report and LL... but word of mouth to can help...
The worse customer support I have meet so far in SL was when I personally seek one landlord and still after weeks and weeks -- still have no answer. In IM, mail, note at the company website or in a meeting... Nothing so far.. btw the note at the website are taken away...
The return policy that many has have so far worked for me.. I have used it twice so far.. without any problem at all.....and have an inv of ca 10.000 parts,.,, OK many are my own designs..

I have bought so many crap clothes with insane seem issues I should hold a crap clothes fashion show this afternoon. I have never had an issue with Prefabs but I have only bought from Juro who is amazing or built myself. I did have a friend who bought a horrible house. Terrible prim usage and place, and impossible to texture, and the maker refused to refund her money until she was basically threatened. SL is full of liars and cheats and the numbers just grow everyday.

Some businesses must not be managed very well if the occasional refund (even for a glitch) will put them under.
If a businessowner can't be bothered to write a name and summary down about a customer who needs service at some future date in time, then customers shouldn't be bothered with patronizing that business. It takes all of 10 seconds to find a piece of paper and a pen, or to create a notecard and write in it.
