LIVE MUSIC Sim

I have recently bought a Sim (Island) with the express intention of dedicating it as an area/areas where Live Musician performance and music related events can be held.
I would certainly appreciate any thoughts and ideas from the SL music community on what you would like to see or have at this sim so that we can focus on what aspects need to be worked into the design.
I am also looking for designers /builders, who are willing to assist me.

Discussions are also taking place on holding a Music Festival to showcase many musicians in SL who already perform here. All new musicans welcome too

The aim is to not to detract from the clubs/areas that already host live music, but to allow larger events to be held with larger numbers of residents attending. This does not mean that smaller events are excluded though.

I hope also that it will endeavour to bring the various Live music groups together so that we can promote each artist that plays in SL and not miss the events listings.

Hey! Sounds cool. I've run the web site for Philadelphia's local music scene for over a decade (although its woefully out of date, save for those who constantly post!). A lot of my friend in SL do a lot with streaming live music.

We're also doing the first ever SL musicians concert here from Philadelphia - check out the site:

We're primarily broadcasting to Clover's lovely space, but would live for this to turn into a grid-wide event. Also, let me know what your long term plans are - AWESOME idea!

I think it would be a cool things to try to promote in world; there's so much interest in Live Music in world right now, but not much of that enthusiasm seem to spill into the forums.

Can we get Slayer to play? Please?
