that control-clicking in inventory lets you select multiple individual items??? has it been this way all along, and i never noticed?  (i thought inventory was restricted to shift-clicking still...) or was this a little unannounced 'treat' in today's release?  prrrrrrrrrr.... -thanks,- lindens.

I would go insane if that feature wasnt there, This doesn't apply to the building process though, you have to type shift instead of ctrl.

It's only a couple of versions old, we asked for it a long long time.
We can also shift click to select everything between two end points. Plus we can open a secondary inventory window, using the File menu, and drag those selected items from one window to another to sort things into folders.
