I'm heading out just now, so I'll miss the downtime, but i thought id leave a place where everyone can go ZOMG the grid is down, or, "why dont you update at a time that suits users in Ulan Bator"

Help - My monitor or video card on this machine seems to be dieing.

The picture just changed to about 2 inches tall.

It's hard to get in the spirit of a SL is down thread while SL is still up.

Grumble grumble ...

At 15 minutes to shutdown I was in the middle of gathering test data when we got a power fluctuation here. System rebooted and I couldn't log back in anymore.

I was hoping to collect the data before the server locks out so I have something to chew on.

anyone hear how long this will be down for? They're inputting a patch tomorrow morning, I don't see why they are doing something NOW when the patch is supposed to happen tomorrow. That's two days in a row of down time. Is this just a quick fix/

Dear Linden Labs, since this game has been said to be based in the US, and that the majority of the player base are US players, I urge you to change your down times to 4 AM - 8 AM PST.

That (considering all the MMO's I have played) is the time when most if not all the MMO's have the least traffic (when they're based in the US). thank you.

I just stubbed my toe on the way to my office, where..as usuall, I was going to screw off all day and not get any real work done. Now that SL is down, I am forced to earn my wage. Please try to limit the down time to those times that I am not at work so I can continue being a slacker.

Dear Linden Labs,
Because of your scheduled downtime, I am forced to leave my chair and do housework. I usually manage to avoid doing housework by telling my spouse that I was working on textures/building/looking stupid in SL. Please schedule this for later in the day, when the spouse hits up for the sex, so I can stop mentioning the words, "But.. what will we do for poseballs!?" My spouse would love you forever.
