You also should have requested that they choose you a title, changing titles seems to be the "in" thing.

In all fairness, it should probably go to the resmod forum, as its a meta critique of the resmodding system.

Maybe we should have an "Not Yet Known" board where threads can be moved to until the community has decided how the thread's going to go. I mean, whether it will turn into a picture posting fight, a game of Quote Chicken, stay on topic, bring back the dead, morph into age play/racism/omgurstealingmykey/bush guy etc. etc.

The problem is, you can't normally tell until about 3 pages in and, if it's got to 3 pages, chances are it's a picture posting fight or game of quote chicken.

Having said that, starting threads and leaving it up to the whim of the ResMods as to how it evolves sounds like great fun

And it even includes the ResMods in the forum hilarity - they really can shape the forums!

I beg to differ, the topic is that of the (at times) seemingly random shuffling of threads in the past few weeks.

just because its presented in an obtuse manner doesn't make it off-topic.

In a way this reminds me of Taco's russian thread, which begged the question, if the resmods didnt understand a thread, would it go to off topic.

This is most definately about the resmodding program

I appreciate the randomness of the OP's orginal position. In contrast to other posters, I do not see this as a commentary about the resmods at all. I see it perhaps as a manifestation of the basic SL design philosphy of "your world, your imagination." There is a perception of late-one the is somewhat supported by the behavior of LL and many residents- that SL is not about imagination but about profiteering. Perhaps the op is choosing to force LL to contribute to his imagineering of a topic thread.
