For all of you who want to see specific things discussed, please post here. I would like to bring community wide issues to the table and not only my own. So if you want us (well I can't say for the others but I can suggest some points that you guys bring up here).

I'm warning you all right now, we have one (1) day, we/I won't be able to bring all the points that are going to be posted to the table. I'm going to (yes me) pick some of the issues posted here. (doesn't stop the others attenting to pick or LL).

What is being brought up by me! (Nexus Nash)
  1. IP rights and what LL plans to do about them. (actions, reaction, positions, etc)
  2. Licensed the SecondLife platform.

I'll be updating the list here.
Please keep it constructive.

Why nudity slips past on the supposedly secure teen grid, and protecting IP rights of main gridders whos works have been 'appropriated' by agents other than LL onto the teen grid.

Will the Lindens support any free content besides browsing through shopping malls?

When does Linden Labs plan to diversify their advertising, and get away from the "come here and make money" track, which I feel seriously undervalues and understates the potential available from Second Life.

Geez Nexus why are you gonna waste everyone's time talking about something that LL have already set in stone. FFS!

LL will act on our behalf WHEN AFTER IF we hold a legal copyright for the material and DID I SAY AND file a DMCA form in writing. LL will do nothing, nothing, may I repeat, nothing until those two conditions are met.

In fact, the only reason they're involved is to help protect people's online anonymity. It doesn't actually have anything to do with supporting our rights; that's clearly our personal responsibility. The corporate interest is simply to maintain the illusion of a world, a playpen, a free-for-all where we can flit about without anyone knowing who we really are.

If you want to talk to them about serious business-related subjects, talk to them about releasing a licensed platform that real people can use for real projects in the real world.

*disclaimer: The Second Life grid can continue to exist in all it's glory for years to come despite the use of the software to build other grids in the real world for serious pursuits. These ideas are not mutually exculsive. The poster is not trying to eat your damn newbie sheep prims.

I see where you are coming from, however. I just want to see where and how far, how fast they would act. I know some have stolen some of our custom made textures for various projects. Just exactly how will LL 'fix' this if the person has no contact info. Will they delete the texture keys off the asset server? Will they remove all objects\anything for that matter that has been resold by this person to others. Just want to see what type of action they will take.

I did bring this up in 'my personal list' buty I didn't think anyone would want to hear it. I'll add it.
