Would it be possible to display ban settings on the map and or mini-map? Would this be a good thing?

I think this would be a pretty good idea. I navigate by mini map more than anything.

From: SuezanneC Baskerville Would it be possible to display ban settings on the map and or mini-map? Would this be a good thing? That's a simple, great idea. Would make traveling across the grid significantly easier.

Hey I know how to complicate things - put some figures for ban settings in the profile and give LSL access to them in some fashion.
Then you can ban people based on the extent to which they ban people.
Everone takes chill pills and most bans go away - then someone gets in a bad mood and wham! - the whole place is locked up tighter than a drum.
I still want to see a whole sim divided into parcels set to eject everyone, so all you do is get tossed from one parcel to another.

I tend to Teleport more than Fly, but the idea Does have Merit. Go for it Linden Labs.

I like it If for no other reason than it will give those fine people who delight in breaking into secure areas a better target list.

+1...it certainly would make navigating easier in aircraft. I do a lot of my flying with the map covering half of my screen.

Possibly an option to turn the ban line display off and have a ban proximity indicator in the title bar or somewhere.
I personally would rather run into an invisible forcefield than have my view ruined.
