Post a popular topic title, and one line response to how you feel about this in SL.

Eg:

Goreans : Meh, let them play their 70's space bondage opera.

Furries: Makes nice fur coats, also cool people mostly.

Ageplayers: DAMN PEDOPHILES WTF BBQ

Prim Baby owners: What retards!

SL Client: More bugs than features.

SL Linux Client : ROFL, wtf there goes my 500 day uptime.

SL Mac Client : Someone buy me a mac!

Griefers: Can't touch me ..."Push Restriction"

Kids in SL: Totally against, AR and call Linden to move them to teen grid.

FIC: If they exist then they arnt as bad as the FOC's.

I FEEL ANGER : Eat some garlic dude.

Letter to Linden : Dude stop posting it here, send it to the snail mail address for LL.

New Snapshots : Lame, bring back old as option.

Torley : Very sexyah hat!

Philip: DUDE wake up! The roof is on fire!

New restict ppl by payment type : SNAZZY

Security Tools : Some are good, but please do think of the aviators, put a timer that's reasonable.

Privacy in SL: Buy a private island and lets do it babe!

Lag: Omg, upgrade the asset server already, also MySQL is with SCO, since SCO is evil MySQL is evil too.

Philip Linden kicked my dog. Repeatedly. Then he felt bad and bought me an ice cream cone. Loser.

I'll give my thoughts on the same ones, just for fun:

Goreans: Their biggest mistake is trying to roleplay a lifestyle rather than really feel it and trying to copy characters in books rather than be themselves with abandon.

Furries: Their community seems to have better than average scripters and builders, as well as a greater than average tendency toward unusual sexual fetishes, but otherwise, they're mostly just people as boring as any others.

Ageplayers: I don't even know what to say.

Prim baby owners: I don't understand how anyone can develop a serious emotional attachment to a linked collection of prims, but I'm not going to try to tell them not to.

SL Client: Recent changes have been chiefly for the worse.

SL Linux Client: ?

Griefers: They can be infuriating at times, but they're really less of a problem than they're made out to be ... at least for me.

Kids in SL: They shouldn't be there, but there's nothing I can do about it, and I don't stay awake at night worrying about it.

FIC: There really are people who receive preferential treatment (I've seen it), but I think it's reaching a bit to suggest that it's some kind of organized group.

I FEEL ANGER: I will probably farm your thread with a meaningless remark.

Letter to Linden: I will probably farm your thread with a meaningless remark.

New Snapshots: One of the worst updates ever.

Torley: Watermelons.

Philip: Linden?

New restrict ppl by payment type: I don't know where people are seeing all of these unverified griefers, but I haven't had any problems with unverified people.

I will also use your format of questions. This is like those MySpace things people pass lol.

Goreans : Swords and the like are cool. Not into the whole slave concept, but have fun. :)

Furries: Dont know what the big deal is. Furries vs. Humans.. bah! As long as everyone realizes that behind every keyboard is a real person with feelings, etc then it will all be good.

Ageplayers: Dont understand it but as long as you keep it clean it is all good. EDIT: Recently realized through another thread that ageplay does not mean sexual. This post has been changed to reflect that error. Apologies to anyone offended.

Prim Baby owners: I got four of the flesh and blood variety. My wife and I would NEVER have one in game.. this is SL after all. lol. If you want to roleplay mommy and daddy, then awesome.. have fun.

SL Client: Still something fun and hopefuly someday profitable for me. I love SL. I just wish they would quit screwing it up. I respect what the Lindens have to do to keep it all fun and exciting. Exciting is not figurnig out how to use chat this week or all the other little suprises we are blessed with on Wednesdays.

SL Linux Client : No experience with it.

Griefers: No matter. AR when needed... laugh about the small stuff. Someone shooting me across a sim generally doesnt irritate me. Just depends on what I am doing at the time.

Kids in SL: I have posted my opinion on this. Mostly due to knowing how TSO was affected then There. I feel like with all companies numbers are gonna rule over logic. Blind ambition is blindness anyway you look at it.

FIC: Doesnt seem to effect me any.

I FEEL ANGER : Not often in SL. Mostly when I get hit up for something. :P

Letter to Linden : Put it in questions. When you post your letter you know you are really saying "everyone circle the wagons and post with me". Nothing wrong with some good ol rebel rousing sometimes, but pick your battles. Most of us agree with your letters we just dont have the ability to help.

New Snapshots : I feel I am the only person in SL that likes them. lol

Torley : Torley is the mediator. This person has the straight talk and calls them like she sees them. In the end though you know she does care and if ANYONE is listening it is the Torleys of LL.

Philip: Realziing his dream... just needs to wake up and listen to the people in it.

New restict ppl by payment type : Mixed feelings. Can be good if used to curb minors from M areas, but can unnecesarily exclude someone not intended. I have met some AWESOME unverified people. I dont care what the payment status is. Dont be an ass and you are OK in my book. :D

Goreans : Buh? Don't know 'em, don't care about 'em.

Furries: Oh snap it's me, FurNation, and loads of others!

Ageplayers: Eh. Not even babies want to be babies, but these guys apparently do.

Prim Baby owners: Dubble-Yew-Teeh-FF?!

SL Client: It's not a bug, it's a feature! Repeat until you believe it.

SL Linux Client : Er... no.

SL Mac Client : No Mac here, unfortunately

Griefers: My usual treatment for these guys consists of "Freeze, damage enable small parcel, landban from surrounding land so they can't move off that small parcel, shoot repeatedly in the face with modified 5 damage inflicting cinderblock thrower". "Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! Go make another account and try again."

Kids in SL: Ban from sim, call a Linden, repeat.

FIC: This is not the FIC you are looking for. *Jedi mind trick*

I FEEL ANGER : Toke and relax.

Letter to Linden : Bitch at Philip directly. Failing that, figure out who the hell broke the build interface this time. Reserve some special love for them.

New Snapshots : Craptacular, asstastic, Shiny Useless Fluff. Stop breaking the damn interface, please.

Torley : Pink and green, coordinated colors do not make.

Philip: Phil... I toke too, but whatever you're on, cut the dosage. :)

New restict ppl by payment type : At least it lets me know who's a possible "noob with cager" type.

Security Tools : Obnoxious. Give a warning, then a subtle hint, *THEN* annihilate. Not "kill Kill KILL!!!!"

Privacy in SL: Like it exists.

FurNation's generally human friendly. Oddly, the usual response I get from (the select few problematic) humans there when I ask them to disarm or stop spamming is "OMG YOU GRIEF ME CUZ I HUMAN". WTF?

Goreans : no problem.

Furries: no problem. I'm not a furry myself but am planning on making what can be called a furry avatar patterened after my first stuffed toy (an olive-gold lion)

Ageplayers: roleplaying a fantasy normal family, no problems. roleplaying pedophilia, not comfortable with it.

Prim Baby owners: a better deal than The Sims where the baby becomes a kid in 3 days.

SL Client: A lot of the new features are nice, but can we get the bugs fixed? I need to do some scripting and I don't want to wait a hundred years for the text I typed to show up.

SL Linux Client : no comment

SL Mac Client : no comment

Griefers: Feeling better since push restriction. But the war's not over yet and I have no intention of letting up.

Kids in SL: We better get used to them as SL is moving towards full integration of all ages into the main grid.

FIC: ?

I FEEL ANGER : nope

Letter to Linden : Bug fixes please

New Snapshots : Not too bad.

Torley : an absolute gem.

Philip: get rid of the facial hair on your avie

New restict ppl by payment type : expect more tools like this as SL integrates all ages into main grid.

Security Tools : Good enough. But the fences are ugly. Draw the fences on the minimap so we don't see the ugly walls.

Privacy in SL: virtually nonexistent, but I'm fine with it. I'm expecting more privacy tools later though.

Lag: getting bad. not sure if it's a comm issur or what anymore.

Goreans : Don't care.

Furries: Don't care (but please don't shed on me).

Forums: Tactical nuclear missiles needed.

Ageplayers: *writhes on ground as forum drama ensues*.

Prim Baby owners: Prim baby imitation scripts. :)

SL Client: Pls 2 b sendin' hlep soon. :(

SL Linux Client : N/A.

SL Mac Client : N/A.

Griefers: Hello, meet superior scripting.

Kids in SL: I can't tell the difference between the kids and the grown-ups.

FIC: Anyone who mentions 'FIC' on the forums and is not themselves 'FIC' should be shot.

I FEEL ANGER : Rrrrg Tyken SMASH.

Letter to Linden : I usually skip posts more than 3 paragraphs as junk by people who can't get to the point (and if their postcount is low :O ).

New Snapshots : Been there, whined a lot, got the t-shirt.

Torley : Mmmm, water-melon-y.

Philip: Doesn't really exist. A figment of the collective SL conscious formed as a forum scapegoat and flame target.

New restict ppl by payment type : Hey, I forgot to edit this one. Oh. Still don't care. :\

Security Tools : You all suck at teh scripting.

Privacy in SL: People worried about being seen pixel-humping must be sorely missing their non-pixel humping. :(

You know... I ALMOST put a humans vs. furries right after that. LOL

Maybe my post was not clear... my meaning is that the whole thing about VS. is silly. Anyone can act like an idiot... trick is to treat the ones that do not on ANY side with respect. Does that make sense? I have never had a problem with a furry being rude, etc. I actually dont look at a furry and think.. OH, a furry. I even sport an alt that is a tiny furry dog. I hope you can see what my intention was up there. :)

Goreans : A few morons make the whole bunch look worse than they are. There are a few who take themselves way too seriously. Anyone who says they are Gorean in RL gets my raised eyebrow. Men who actually give their avatars the first name of "Master" crack me up.

Furries: Some of these people are smart in that intimidating kind of way that makes the rest of us feel like idjits. I love my furry AVs. If I'm in my tiny furry feel free to hug me lots.

Ageplayers: I really don't understand it, I can't claim to know much about it at all. I won't attempt to judge something I know nothing about. I have been told it actually has nothing to do with real pedophilia and I tend to accept that as truth. I do think the people who get so so bent out of shape over it could make better use of their time and passion in being more concerned with real life crimes and real life victims.

Prim Baby owners: Each to their own just please don't ask me to babysit.

SL Client: Way too technologically challenged to comment.

SL Linux Client : Way too technologically challenged to comment.

SL Mac Client : Way too technologically challenged to comment.

Griefers: The really stupid ones can be mildly amusing. There is not much that's more fun than freezing a griefer and mocking him knowing he's too stupid to just log off and escape.

Kids in SL: Find their parents and beat them about the heads until they wake up and act like parents.

FIC: I want in.

I FEEL ANGER : Depends on why.

Letter to Linden : Try the Answers forum

New Snapshots : Please please please bring the old one back. Pleeeaaassseee?

Torley : Love the watermelon chair.

Philip: Are we sure he exists or are there maybe a dozen or more Lindens playing the part by now?

New restict ppl by payment type : I refuse to risk discriminating against genuine new people just starting out and looking around.

Security Tools : Love the no push, ty LL.

Privacy in SL: is a myth

Lag: I think I'm getting used to feeling like I'm walking through mud. Someday I'm going to be able to move around quickly and smoothly and I'm going to wonder what's wrong.

Oh what the heck.

Goreans : Been there, done that, had enough drahma to last me the rest of my life. No more for me, thanks. I will say this, it was some learning experience.

Furries: Um... OK, sorry in advance for anyone I piss off. But my dealings with individual Furries has not been so good. In my experiences, they tended to be more immature than other people I've met. So I tend to give Furries wide berth now. Sorry :o

Ageplayers: Curious as to the why. What's the attraction? Wouldn't ban it, just don't get it.

Prim Baby owners: Arrrgh pet peeve. I don't know what's worse, talking naughty bits or talking bellies.

SL Client: With the things I do, I don't have many problems with bugs. The times I've crashed often turned out to be a problem on my end. Video cards need lots of cool air. Who knew?

SL Linux Client : Never used it

SL Mac Client : See above

Griefers: Haven't had any trouble with griefers that went beyond mild annoyance.

Kids in SL: If I wanted to hang out with kids, I'd go to the mall

FIC: Look, every company has a list of preferred customers. These are the people who spend the most money, are the closest involved or have some kind of reciprocal agreement. I don't think SL is any different. I don't think it's a problem, either, unless that group of people is given much more attention/freebies/consideration than the rest, and I don't think that here they have. I don't see it as any worse than people who fly the same airline a lot getting extra frequent flier miles and free upgrades.

I FEEL ANGER : Don't bottle it up, man. Let it out.

Letter to Linden : V

New Snapshots : Haven't played much with it

Torley : Ah, Torley, gentle soul...

Philip: Philip giveth and Philip can taketh away...

New restict ppl by payment type : No need for it personally, but if others want to, OK.

Security Tools : Never had a need for them

Privacy in SL: What privacy? And who cares if someone sees or listens in. It's a cartoon, for crying out loud.

Lag: Been annoying at times

lol, good fun.

Goreans : When in my areas respect my rules, keep your roleplay to yourselves and out of my areas and not forced upon my guests, thanks. Met some decent goreans, but the ones that haven't been are enough to make one's skin crawl.

Furries: Cute. I especially like neko kitties :D I don't think nekos are really furries though. :P Or are they, hm. I am confused. (usual state of affairs)

Ageplayers: Sick, but there's no way to stop it. Read response to Goreans. Keep it out of my place.

Prim Baby owners: Thank god for the mute button.

SL Client: Very cool. Bugs are to be expected in something as complex as SL, at least they are getting addressed on a timely basis.

SL Linux Client : don't have, can't say

SL Mac Client : don't have, can't say

Griefers: Easily dealt with in SL with land ban and security tools and push restriction. Having friends as neighbors in my sim where we can effectively ban them across a large portion of two sims does much to restrict their freedom of movement when they manage to piss any one of us off. Griefers don't last long around us, and move on to more interesting targets.

Kids in SL: Can't really keep them out, though I don't like babysitting. Been in other worlds where kids were allowed without serious troubles - restricting unverifieds to PG sims ought to solve the legal problems of kids accessing mature content.

FIC: Moonbatty Conspiracy theory, I pay it no mind.

I FEEL ANGER : See a psychiatrist, take your meds.

Letter to Linden : There's a forum for that, General Topics isn't it.

New Snapshots : I like them, just takes getting used to.

Torley : Cute av

Philip: Everyone puts their pants on one leg at at time. :P

Never met him. I think? Certainly not as an avatar, IRL at some point in the past (pre SL) is an open question, but I can't remember very well. I have a vague naggy feeling I was at a conference he was at, for Real Networks. It was in the 90s, many years ago. I came across other fascinating figures during this time period, dot.com boom was an interesting time. ('cept for the bust part) note to self, pay more attention to people who might change jobs in the future :P

New restict ppl by payment type : me likes!

Security Tools : User errors are to blame for most problems with these. I love em and find them highly useful.

Privacy in SL: Doesn't really exist, though I'll still TP you home if you bug me in rude manner on my property when I don't wish to be disturbed.

Lag: Not too much of a problem for me, except at times when I've been at events. But then my computer handles SL well.

Well, for a start it's not down to you to tell other people what the biggest mistake of their lifestyle is. Such could be construed as arrogance, which I am sure it really isn't.

Secondly, I think if you knew any Goreans you would know that they are much more themselves than most people you meet in Second Life.

Goreans : Seem to have very good manners!

Furries: Have rather large heads , but other than that are just wonderful!! :P

Ageplayers: Encourage Pervert Dirty Old Men.

Prim Baby owners: Frighten me.

SL Client: Thats what we play right?

SL Linux Client : Huh.

SL Mac Client : What.

Griefers: Bored Kids trying to act tough on the internet , ignoring works.

Kids in SL: No Brainer.

FIC: I heard they go sit at the cool table and blow spitwads on the rest of us :(

I FEEL ANGER : Nah, almost never.

Letter to Linden : I doubt they are reading the forums.

New Snapshots : Bad stuff , ruined being able to capture spare of the moment type pictures.

Torley : Always seems so friendly and helpful to everyone on the forums no matter how much of a weeny the people are being. ( worried one day may snap ! LOL )

Philip: Needs Prim Hair !

New restict ppl by payment type : Meh.

Security Tools : I don't care.

Privacy in SL: A joke. Being able to appear offline would be better than a hot furry-gorean orgy! But I also feel if people reallly really really want privacy.. logging on to a game with thousands of people seems to be counter-productive.

Sorry to derail subject, but this one drives me crazy. Are you kidding? I'm able to perform a 1-second animation, which I have to trigger via a guesture, and I have enough time to catch myself in the middle of a backflip in the air, upside down. And then, I can make the angle perfect.

I must have a magic 'omgmakestuffawesome' option clicked in a menu somewhere.

Well, one would think that, while repositioning the camera and changing resolution you would be altering the original file... Updating that file to match the concurrent representation on-screen would be the reason for the 'update snapshot' button. At least that's what I think, anyway. :3
