Okay, am I the only one having trouble resizing prim only to have them snap back to original size like a rubberband? I'm working on a project due when school starts, and I'm having a heck of a time getting anywhere with this!

I've heard rumors, but I'll check it out when I get home.

Only time I've seen this is if the prim is linked to others. Try unlinking it and see if that works.

I think you are supposed to be able to do this with linked
objects.
However I have noticed that sometimes this happens when trying to edit part of a linked object and so I will have to unlink it first, resize and then relink.

If it is not part of a linked object, sometimes I have seen this
happen when using the white corner size points, sometimes the
only way around it is to use the colored points even tho they do not resize everything uniformly.

Make sure you dont have Select Texture checked in the Edit window. If you have this box checked and you're on the edit tab, most if not all of the things you change about the prim will bounce back almost the moment you're done entering the change.

Also when editing linked objects with "edit linked objects" checked, you can not duplicate a prim that's a part of a linked object, you will have to delink it, duplicate and then relink.

Correct me if I am wrong.

Just found my problem (With some help from Troy, thanks!). It was because I'm working on a 147 prim object...heh. Prim count going to rise too. ^^;

EDIT: Okay, forget that, I hit 317 prims. Guess I have to take it into my inventory unlinked and always keeping copies and saving. :) Oi.
