A Tourist's Opinion: Two Must-See Sims

Hello!

I just wanted to mention two private islands which I've visited in the past week or so which I think merit a little tourism: Panache and Apollo.

Both are mercantile islands, so I should mention that I have no ties to the respective owners; in fact, I don't believe I've ever met them. So I'm not a "viral marketer," or whatever the polite term for "shill" is these days :p. But I do enjoy wandering and admiring talented efforts, and I found the talent and unique sense of style that went into both of these places worthy of trying to call to public attention.

In particular, Panache has a small fountain at the head of the TP plaza...a woman, kneeling, with cupped hands held up toward a single downpour...which I think may be the most exquisitely detailed water display I've seen yet.

Apollo is extraordinarily richly textured, so you should probably be prepared for a touch of lagginess if you try to take it all in at once with a high draw distance.

If you find yourself a bit jaded, or depressed about the seemingly unfulfilled potential of this world, I heartily recommend a field trip to either or both :)

I've not visited Panache but will heartily ditto Apollo. The owner has a keen sense for creating a virtual environment one can literally wander through and enjoy.
