I don't want to start anything but is there any hope in future that we might get an update where logins need to be shut off.

some of my friend won't play SL due to that. They have to update the client every week.
LL really needs a QA department and if they have they need to rethink how they approve stuff.

I assure you, the weekly downtown has been around waaaaay before you started SL. It ain't changing any time soon.
