Hey gang!

Just a friendly reminder: don't forget to book your SLCC hotel room this week if you're planning on staying (as most of us are) at the Serrano Hotel. The deal we have worked out for $129 per night is only available until JULY 18th!

Can anyone recommend any good youth hostels around San Fran? Gotta keep it cheap this time around.

While you can do damn well with Priceline, its going to be fun to have a slew of us in the same hotel as well. :)

Yea I booked a few weeks a go as soon as it was announced and they took my CC info but did not charge the card.

Can't wait to see every one and with so many staying in the same hotell it really should be a blast to say the least!!

That is correct - and I can't wait! The amount of folks staying at the Serrano is going to extend the Convention into a truly wonderful weekend-long party!

I just reserved my room at the Serrano. I can think of 10 people that are staying there, but I'm sure there's more. I can't wait! :D

i'll also be staying at the Serrano!

my flight arrives 9.35p on the 17th.. and i was able to get the "LAB" discount rate for the night of the 17th and i'm checking out on the 21st. thanks to Hiro Pendragon, i'm also aware that i can get a ride from the airport to the hotel for $15.. which is groovy.

so, for the wine-tasting.. do we each get our own bottle? i could taste the whole thing! ;) ..lol

should be an awesome time.. NO, it WILL be an awesome time!! :D

(by the way, for people trying to figure out miscellaneous stuff about SLCC 06, i've posted a RL Meet Ups thread over here.)


and Flip, RL has been insane lately, but yes.. i'm getting back to the nametags. am i meeting expectations compared to last year, yet? hehe..

LF.. if you need a place to stay.. i'm going alone and have a room all to myself at Serrano.

if you need a place to crash.. you can crash in my room. (although, i warn you.. i don't know if you're a smoker or not, but i requested a smoking room.. as i am a smoker. but i can be accomodating.. so yeah..)

point is.. i should have extra room in my room iif you need some room..

Well chances are I'll be sleeping at the hostel (gf's coming along, she won't be at the official convention bits but will probably come for the partying), but much appreciated mate :D

Don't forget the San Remo too! :D Frogg and I are on a tight budget so we are staying at the San Remo instead... No wi-fi unfortunately, but nice and cozy! Can't beat $60 a night anyway, even with a bathroom down the hall.
