Has anyone received a Magic Mushroom vendor from Cherry Charming? She gave me one of these in world, and it sells a magic mushroom for L$20, and she gets half of the earnings. She claims to have 'accidentally' given this to me. Is this a new scam and has anybody else received this item?

Doesn't sound like a scam... sounds like she has magic mushroom vendors where the owner of the vendor can sell the mushrooms, and she gets commission...
.... and she accidently gave you one.

Cherry Charming has been running many legitimate businesses, clubs, stores, rental property and selling mushroom vending machines in SL for quite sometime. I highly doubt she would try to scam someone. I believe she probably did send it to you by mistake.

It does sound like they are being given out at random, but I don't think I would call it a scam.

The magic mushrooms give you "psychedelic" effects when you eat (wear) them. Basically it creates particle effects that are mildly entertaining when you are in mouse-look mode.

I have always thought they were a clever little SL item, but nothing exciting.

I have to confess, I bought drugs from this rasta furry, not long after I got this

mushroom thing too. I rezzed it and it asked to take money, I meant to click no but

clicked yes through my malfunctioning double clicking mouse, I didn't get robbed, just the

option to start dealing myself.... that's how it goes... they get you hooked then want you

to sell.... :cool: the effect is cool, lasts a long time... :D should have gotten one for

tomorrows update....
