oh, come on! (vehicle park annoyance)

now, i was pretty unhappy about losing most of the vehicle park to the 3rd year anniversary shindig..

i mean, can't they setup a dedicated space for such special events and let us vehicle people have our spot to play in?

probably not, oh well. i didn't bother saying anything...

so today, i went to busy ben's and tried to rez an aircraft in balance (the remaining part of the vehicle sim, that's been so far left alone (mostly). what do i discover? it's been turned into a no rez zone.


argh...

Sandbox. Bro! SANNNNNDDDDDBOXXXX!!!!!!

I thought all of the vehicle park except for the designated rezzing area near Busy Ben's was no-build, but I don't use it much so I could be wrong.

And in any case, the vehicle park IS a dedicated space for such special events. Being a vehicle park is just what it does when there's no events booked. Those sims can actually be rented any time by anyone for events for a few thousand L$ a day.

Don't worry, I'm sure you'll live for the whole like 2% of the year it's being used for events.

NO SANDBOX!!! The last time I went to a sandbox, it was overrun with idiots rezzing helicopters, starships, fighter planes (buzzed twice by one of those) and supercars. I started building something, went around one corner to add something, and discovered that the clear space I THOUGHT I had to build in now had a big freakin' plane sitting on it that I COULD NOT DELETE and the f*ckwit that rezzed it just left it there and disappeared, so I couldn't ask him to remove it.

We need playgrounds specific to vehicles and one for the weapons freaks, AS WELL AS BUILDING SANDBOXES in which ONLY BUILDING takes place.

I was in a sandbox earlier and some moron with a helicopter started firing missiles at me.

So, I attached my popgun and aimed two paintballs ..... splat splat.

He flew away, presumable scared of my *cough* superior firepower.

Wanna know a secret? A good spot to drive your vehicles is in the water sims on the west side of the mainland island clusters to the east. Also, there's a place called Bug Island that almost nobody goes to, try some of those places.

I was flying around a week or so ago and stumbled onto an island with a motocycle track that curved and everything, it was awesome. I forget the name of the island, but it was still being built, I'm sure you'll hear more about it. Happy driving!
