Hey Dalagorn, I noticed nobody has replied so I will. There's a great place that's called New Citizens Inc. (I think that's the name). You can do a search for "new citizens" in the find places and it should show up. They teach building classes and have name documents for you to view. If you need any help, or a landmark, feel free to IM me. I usually help someone build something simple in the sandbox if they need help, if you want me to help you, just say so.

Welcome, Dalagorn!! There is also a beautiful and invaluable resource in "The Ivory Tower." It is a self-paced building tutorial housed in an absolutely beautiful build. In addition, at any given time, there are several classes underway on topics ranging from building, to scripting, to making clothes. Just click on 'find' at the bottom of your screen when you log-in and go to the 'events' tab (Or, before you log in to SL, you can go to the little blue "resident links" pull-down menu in the upper right-hand corner of the main Second Life.com page [just click the Second Life logo at the top of this screen]. Choose 'events' to see what is listed) If you need additional help, or would like to ask specific questions, feel free to ask a mentor or a Linden--they will be happy to help. Enjoy!!
