Just a heads up.
I detached an attachment that I had been working on and then re-attached it and the system restored an older version.
My workaround is to detach/reattach after every minor change and then verify to make sure it saved properly.
Have fun.

i can confirm having had the same difficulty yesterday evening. thanks for sharing, Iron, so i know it wasn't just me doing sloppy work. as useless as it may seem sometimes, anyone experiencing something like this should also file bug reports. who knows, a couple years down the line, somebody might fix them...?

Somewhat related to this... I've noticed that when you wear an object and edit it, then copy and paste the object in inventory (while still wearing it), the copied object is what it was before wearing (ie. any editing.) Might be a bug, but is very useful when you edit an attachment on yourself and make fatal mistakes (or something gets bugged beyond undo).

yaaa, that's the postive flip side of the coin, Kazefuri. it makes it easy to create a quick backup of your hat/wings/hair/etc before starting to tinker with it. i don't think that's a bug, but rather part of the intended function.
the key point is the moment you detach - that is the moment the changes you've made in an object you're currently wearing should be saved, and the new version of said object should then appear in Inventory>Objects. these changes were what wasn't being saved last night for Iron and myself at the moment of detachment.

You can do "drop" and then pick it back up.
It saves for sure that way.

Yes, that's what I've been doing .. is dropping, taking a copy, and then re-attaching.
It's all a little nerve wracking when you put a lot of work into an attachment, whether or not the system is actually going to save it properly.
