Should People stop posting Biased polls for no other reason than to grind a personal axe and try to make themselves feel important by saying "see 51% agree with me?

When I think of "Pole", I think of Stefan Betke. Maybe I'm weird that way.

Polls can make someone feel better--or worse. Or mixed emotions. I think a problem is if they're interpreted as being importantly than they actually are--which is, to say, often one food item on a much larger buffet. I've learned polls are good for grabbing the cyberzeitgeist in here, a barometer for change, but things move on very quickly.

I think, however, if someone is going to biased, at least if they do it openly, then you know they're biased. I don't care much for hidden bias, no... which is why when I'm biased, I pretty much exclaim it bluntly.

Biased polls out the OP as someone with an axe to grind and not enough sense to actually do something constructive about it. It frankly does us more good than it does them.
