offline messages no longer allowed???

How do I reach the creator of an object now with this new update that wont let me leave offline messages?? Does this mean if they just log in for monetary reasons they will now have to actually spend time in the game??? Something else to consider before buying I spose..
I am just curious as i buy a lot in second life and I don't see a good side to this update...

Is this alt control? cus you cant even give things you own to your alt now...dangit and i just made one too...

I want to thank everyone for trying to help me the problem was in my pc...couldnt possibly be my stupidity(yes it could) but thats another forum.... anyway thank you all for trying to help me i had to relog and it seemed ok after that....phew....

Notecards are always the best way to reach offline people in my opinion. Especially when trying to reach someone you know probably gets alot of IM's and those are usually capped off.

Just tested offline IMs and email notification of them with both friends and stranger. Works fine for me.

Im not understanding this...I know if i have a calling card i can open up a window to leave a message..what if i want to build a house and need the help of someone..i dont have their calling card..how does that work? Click on the people tab and type in the person's name.

I did and it says none found so i check the online and it says no as in hes offline....still blank...sighs...i tried it with my alt cus i wanted to pass some inventory on to her and it wouldnt let me...had to use her calling card which unfortunately i never use them so wasnt thinking of it.... rain |

If it was a griefer there's a good chance that account was banned or canceled so you won't find it in search.
Just delete said item and hope they're gone for good..
