I wish to ask a question about the possibilty of banning specific groups from your land.
I am aware that you can give group access to your land using the security systems, but the reason for asking is that my newly opened club has now been the subject of two griefing episodes from members of the same VIP group, (which belong to another club) and I am seeking ways to a) protect my club and b) protect my customers.
I have a security system in place which has allowed me to ban the individuals concerned, but I am looking for this additional protection. Anyone is welcome on my premises, however I don't feel we should have to tolerate persistant abuse from groups.
I have filed an abuse report on both occasions and I would appreciate anyones feedback regarding this matter.

There is no land tool for mainland residents that allows you to ban specific groups at this time, no.

Two issues. As Ordinal already pointed out, there's no way to ban based on group via the land tools.
The other is that the script interface for groups is very limited. We can see if an object is in the same group as another object/avatar, but we can't actually scan for specific groups. Or check to see if an avatar is present in another group.
The best you could do is make a specific group for your land, get everybody to join it, deed some kind of security object to that group which kicks anyone out who isn't also a part of that group.
Which, of course, is not really a solution at all. (Unless you're into isolationism.)

That's twice I've seen posts implying there is a tool for island or estate owners that allows group banning. Sad to say, if there is such a tool I can't find it. There's an 'Allowed Groups' one, and an 'Allowed Residents' one, neither of which make much sense to me, unless they operate in conjunction with the various visibility and teleport functions (i.e. switch off direct TP but your 'allowed' people can still TP?), but nothing to ban groups. Or can someone explain how to use the existing island/estate tools to ban a group?

I guess the only way you could do this is to look up the group and ban each member one by one.
