As the owner of a Popular Club the proliferation of Non Verified Accounts means constantly dealing with griefers and troublemakers, filing of Abuse Reports and Banning avatars!
Linden Labs has openned the door to this flood of ill behaved children (of all ages) and seems to have little regard to the legitimate residents who are here to enjoy SL as do the griefers themselves!
It is obvious that we must take the bull by the horns and band together to make these unwelcomed nuisances UNWELCOME at Our Clubs shops etc!
If someone disrupts your club or store... after you ban that person share the name!
Club owners can become members of SLAM.. and use the group channel to let the rest of us know!
IF WE ALL BAN THESE GRIEFERS they will not have anywhere to go and eventually go away!
As Howard Beale (Peter Finch) said in Network:

That's a fantastic idea! It'll work for at least 5 minutes until they register a new account. Eventually they will get the message! (I have No idea why it STILL says guest .. I am registered for more than a year, but the damn forum just doesnt like me) |

I have met some very nice newbies lately. They do seem to be a little trigger happy from having come from more active games, but the ones I have met have adapted well. It will take them a while to adapt to the sl culture but we should not be too hasty to antagonize them. btw Trader1, you can change most parts of your signature on the accounts page in these forums. Trader, I admire your train of thought here, but the truth is that my community's ban list has been full for 2 weeks now. We've had to pare off names from the top (and hope they were one-off freebies) to add more at the bottom. There's no room to add griefers from other clubs even though it's a great idea. The ban list must be enlarged, and soon. There's also a Griefer Banning Network (GBN) already in place based on the same idea. _____________________
