Happy happy! I couldn't get into the first preview grid at all, kept crashing instantly.... so I was cautiously optimistic when the new preview was released today. And now I can finally get in! It's slow, but I expected that with all the new lighting. Now I'm finally getting a chance to play with the flexible prims and admire the new lighting options. So, just wanted to say, whatever the Linden tech team did to improve it-- thanks!

It works for me, too. Yay!
Well, sort of. It made my computer freeze up, and Ripple Water is still grayed out for me, even though the initial release notes don't say it's been changed. Very disappointing, as I recently rented a plot on the corner of a sim because I love the ripply water so much. (I posted about it on the Preview forum. Is there anything else I should be doing?)
Still, thanks for the getting the fix up so quickly. (Now please please please at least give an explanation about the water!)
