Well, for one, I've learned not to IM anyone using their avatar--it usually crashes.
I've learned that I can't even tip anyone (give them money) by right clicking someone's avatar without worry about it giving the money to someone completely different. Just a few minutes ago, I right-clicked someone, it highlighted them, and then went I went to pay, it went to someone almost 12 feet away from the person I clicked on.

Not sure about the IMing thing, but for the tiping; make sure you are clicking the right person. There are a LOT of invisible attachments out there. It is very easy to click these by mistake in clubs. Shields and flight assists come to mind readily.
Hope this helps, or you report it as a Bug if you are sure you clicked the correct person.

Fmeh, if you want to be sure you're paying the right person, click on their profile first and pay from there.

Well, considering that the other person was about 12 feet to the left and the circle/pie menu thing was right over his icon, I'd say it's probably a bug. It also said his name in the pay menu, but when I actually clicked the amount, it gave it to someone else.

It may be similar to the bug I discovered where if you draw a box around a set of items you want to pick up, from directly overhead, it will nonetheless start off with objects that are not in that box, like two plants several meters north of it. coco

It also said his name in the pay menu, but when I actually clicked the amount, it gave it to someone else. I'm still not discounting the bug. Could very well be and should be reported jsut in case. The MultiGadget, however, extends several "feet" off the avatar in a straight line off the ear (unless they move the attachment). Ctrl+Alt+T can show you that some people have some very strange things as invis-prim-attachments *snickers* Best not to use this if you're easily offended. ^.^ A lot of shields also us a full 10meter "shell" that is invisible. Polite persons do not wear such in a public group unless griefed, but some do for various reasons. *shrugs* Report it, but I'd also keep in mind to watch the name in the payment popups. I will be after reading this when I tip ^.^ ~Jessy
