How do I become taller?

I want my avatar to be a bit taller than she is currently, and I have the height slider at 100. Thing is, I've seen female avatars taller than me, and one was easily a few feet taller! Is there a way to manually set the height? Or is there a scale that I need to increase?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks :)

You can make your legs, neck, and torso longer. You can also wear shoes that are set with the platform and heel to the highest level. Hope that helps.

Shoes and hair are unimportant, and if you set them all to 100 you get way out of proportion unless you also increase hands, feet, face etc... in which case shoes won't fit!

I am 7'6" approx... I could be taller but I'd look wierd...
I've not (yet) met any female avie taller than me... (well, certainly taller than my smaller avs but you all know what I mean)

This is why you get mod-enabled shoes. :D

That said, one of my alts is set up to maximum height while being relatively proportional (8' 2" or so - measuring correctly with a prim, not relying on the common "AV Height" detectors) and looks reasonably okay (although the shape is quite muscular. I like to joke she's my bodyguard. ;) )

Eat your broccoli!

I'm like 7'5"...stretch your torso, legs etc, as others have suggested.

HA! They're not nearly as funny as the ones about increasing your volume like you've never imagined before... geez, and I just got a new sub-woofer. ;)

Standing on a box should work. If you can find a box.

One of my ALTS, I said. :p As I don't actually use my alts for anythign but group purposes and the occasional time when controlling two avatars is handy (testing a script, for instance) you don't see them in world much.

That said, Sio, of my main looks, the half-dragon is pretty tall as well.

If you can find someone else's head.

Alternately of course a bigger monitor will work fine.

Someone who had a vendor in Kage Seraph's old shop had a "mech walker" that worked along those lines, but I don't know if it's at Kage's current location.

I hear that the movie star, Alan Ladd, did that because he was so short. I am a solid 5 feet tall in SL which is as tall as I want to be. More power to the people who want to be giants. Short is fun.

But where can you find a box in SL ? There aren't any box stores. Not a single one.

I question the solidity of your five feet. Zoom in close. I bet your claim to solidity is n empty assertion.
