What does "feeding the troll" mean?
Is it considered bad form to start a new thread on a topic that has already been covered a great deal, especially if you don't have anything new or interesting to add to the discussion?

From: Sherrianne Hailey What does "feeding the troll" mean? A "troll," in Internet parlance, as you may know, is some one who says inflammatory things just to get a kick out of people's angry reactions. When people continue to give the troll the angry reaction that he craves, we call it feeding the troll because it's like feeding a fire. If you don't feed it -- ignore it -- it eventually dies. P2
