1) What purpose do they serve? 2) How much would you pay for a shield that detects and destroys them? 3) How much would you pay them to simply go away (for real not just taking your money and staying like I assume they would LOL) 4) Question 1 again, cause it's a really good one

I ran into this robot who greeted me once, and I was hugely amused!
I said, "Eeek!" and talked to it a bit.
The owner happened to be lurking around and she found the exchange amusing.
In other words, the one I saw was cute! I like cute stuff like this.

*scratch*
1. Oh. To greet and annoy. 2. They're usually nonphysical? So No. 3. They'll come back. They allllways come back. 4. Oh. To greet and annoy.

From: Burke Prefect Define Mail Robot. I think she means the people who work at Cinnabon or Orange Julius?

Bruke, Mall, not mail...
I remember someone a few months ago posted that there was a robot in a store, and if you went there and said obscene things to it, then it would automaticlly ban you. Well, I went there once, and nothing happened when I said things to it. So I went back a few days later and the bot was gone, so I asked the owner where it went, and he said that it actually relayed what was said to him! To say the least, I was chased off. :-[

Friend of mine told me this story about the time he went to Disneyland, and walked up to people saying "Hel-lo. I am one of the new MO-BILE Audio-an-im-a-trons. You will see man-y of is a-round the park. Do not wor-ry, we are well pro-grammed, and no-thing can wrong go."
He said it was amazing how many people appeared to take him seriously.

We have a robot on our land and it's constantly hitting on pretty girls who show up. Keeps asking them where it can find a mate.... I think he's very lonely.

Must've been quite upsetting for him.

*Calls the support line for the maker of his AI control system* "Why is there a Crush/Kill/Destroy function on this thing, and how do I disable it without getting too close?"

I put a robot in my mall, Caliente City.
It greets new people and i have it so the robot "fits" to the theme.
He says "Your out of jail try not to get introuble"
The telehub is inside a jail.

Someone should make one that looks like a senior citizen in a WalMart employee outfit, and it you shoot it, you win.

Pssst. I know we're not supposed to name names, but don't ever think about hiring Red Robot as a mall greeter. I'm still weaseling out from under ARs and cleaning up prim corpses...

Ive met a few of them and i even bought one cuz i liked it. But if it was physical that would rid us of them. Walk by with a protec shield and its gone. XD

Mall robots/greeters.. hate 'em! They give me the creeps. Not to mention all the freebie crap they give out. Like I really need more stuff in my inventory.
