Preview Grid Financial Policy Question

The Preview Grid page on the SL website says "All users will have a starting amount of L$5000."
I have more than that, does it mean to say "All users will have a minimum starting amount of L$5000"?

Yes, actually. All users get +5000 L$ upon first connecting to the preview grid, AFAIK. For use on the preview grid only, of course.

No, I went to the preview and had more than 5k, but MUCH less than my main account has. No idea how they come up with the number.

I seem to have just what I had on whatever day they copied the accounts and other data, minus the purchases I made. I might have gotten 5,000 more but I wouldn't have noticed.
So, some folks would be able to play spend some play money they wouldn't otherwise have in the preview grid.

From: crucial Armitage does it really matter its all just play money ? If you are broke in the main grid, you can go the preview grid and buy stuff to play with in preview with the 5,000. Also I just like things like the notes on the download page to be correct. Apparently it's not.
