OK....I just gotta ask, (remember this is coming from a newbie)... can you really get drunk in SL?!?!? That is just too funny! I really can't imagine THIS newbie, dancing on a dance pad, not to mention flying, DRUNK lol!!! I must hear how this is accomplished *taking notes for "must do" list*

I have one somewhere - I think it was a bottle of Absolut Vodka. It's funny for about 5 minutes. Then it's time to load up the "angry monkey" animation. |

heh, I know that! i'm drunk almost every night! just last night I had a few tequelas and I got drunk off my ass and started running around naked in SC
oh what fun that was...but the hangover wasn't fun

There is a store that sell excellent 'drunk' over rides.Funnier than hell to watch too. Do a search under animations to find the store. (Don't want to mention it cause this aint a classified).

Yes, I've seen a few alcoholic drink objects that include forced animations that make you act drunk. The longer you wear them, the worse it gets.
Getting falling down drunk isn't my idea of fun, in RL or in a game, so when I find such objects I usually just delete them from my inventory.

You see I once wandered into the SL Linux forums by accident and saw a thread saying SL was better with Wine... so I gave it a try, and they were right... a nice chardonnay in the summer days or a merlot in the evening makes SL a lot nicer...

I've got a Drunkenness attachment which interferes with your movement, and makes you hiccup occasionally and sway from side to side. It works on five levels, from "a little tipsy" to "one step away from passing out", and drinks can add to the level if they're scripted to do so. At level five it's pretty hard to walk, but it's even funnier when you're flying.
It's in my freebie box if anyone's interested (Caledon 83, 34).

The coolest way to get a drunk effect in SL is to hit CTRL+8 like 10 times.  CTRL+9 undoes it so don't worry. also CTRL+0 does the oposit. Enjoy! |
