Then (I really don't mean to sound uncaring), but you've been lucky... it's been pretty crap for ages, and for some people, a lot longer than for me. I'm sure they'll fix it soon, but... don't hold your breath.

yea i htink the update before this 1 messed it up... mine would be weird at times but this update seems to have made the problem worse :/

It has been working fine for me too, I don't know where Sio gets her info. Maybe all her friends have deleted her calling card? ;)

But it's not working now, that's for sure.

Wouldn't surprise me, but I was first alerted to it by Willow Z. And a few times, a person has logged out, yet my friends list shows them online, or vice versa. Been happening off and on for a couple of versions, with more people seemingly affected with each update.

I'm standing on my lot with two of my friends neither of whom show up on my friends list.

I am also having workflow building issues.

I am going to uninstall and reinstall SL.

But if this doesn't work I have fucking had it.

The only problem I've had with the friends list (before this) is a slight lag, maybe a minute max.

This has also affected IMs. If I got an IM from a friend just seconds after I logged in, it would go to my email instead of my client. They were obviously notified that I logged in, but SL still thought I was offline for a few seconds, and routed it to my email. Those "offline" IMs were delivered on my next login.

It shows no friends on in game, though the page at http://secondlife.com/community/friends.php seems to work just fine.

Also I got an IM sent to my email while logged in.

Whee bug reports are fun.

My friendlist was ok...untill this new update.

Now i just have to guess who's on and who's not.

I had noticed the problems that Siobhan is talking about, before the update. However, they were occasional and relogging would clear them up. This, however, sounds like a complete failure of the friend's list. Wasn't something like this reported on the preview?

They just fixed the Group Chat.

But Friends List still broken here.
