Am proud owner of first land and tiny first house... the house is 16 prims.
Now my questions are these: How do I know how much furniture/items (prims) I can place in house?
Is there a way of telling how full a house is?
Is there a way, when buying land, of telling how much prim space is provided by that chunk of land. (I have First Land at the moment but may want to grow late.)
Oh... and when I buy a house in future how do I discover how much land it will require?
Many thanks for any help. x

Hi and welcome.
Yes, it's possible to do all these things, though not always easy.
Whe you're on a plot of land, your own, or anyone elses, click on the name of the land at the top of the screen to get the "About Land" dialogue. One of the tabs there is "Objects", which tells you how many prims are on your land and who owns them, and how many you're allowed.
As to how many items of furniture, of course it depends on how big they are in terms of prim usage.
Hope this helps.
Siobhan.

One clarification (took me forever to figure this out when I was new)... to figure out how many prims a piece of furniture, like a couch, has: - rez the couch by dragging the couch out of your inventory onto your screen where you want it to go.
- once it shows up, right click the couch and choose Edit.
- in the window that pops up, underneath the name of the creator and the owner of the couch, it will tell you how many prims its made of.
In the future, when you buy more land, the amount of prims you're allowed will roughly double. Like right now, you have a 512m2 plot of land that allows you to use 117 prims. A 1024m2 plot of land will allow you to have about 230 prims on it.
