heh... on my ATI system, it actually slowed things down by .5 fps.. but, it's pci-e, so I guess that's not too damn telling now is it.

Good. It's not that I'm knocking ATI's hardware, it's just that.. um... well... the drivers....

Last week, in a club with over 40 resi present (the Blarney Stone in Dublin), with screen resolution at 1280x960, and with all graphics settings MAXED OUT, I was STILL getting 8 fps on my system.

I get 40 fps most of the time.

I Just LOOVE my BFG 6800 OCX. I pity all you poor ATI users... ;)

why why WHY? I never had one problem with my card.. save the Fans dying.. but ASUS replaced the card straight up for me.. only instead of giving me a 9800 they gave me a 9800xt!! and its a freaking great card! little hot (like me :p ) !!

I even managed double figure FPS in Oblivion at maxed graphics!!

My Graphics card is a BFG (NVidia) 6800 OCX AGP8X card, with 256 MB of DDR2 VRAM. My GPU clock is 425 MHz, and the VRAM clock is 1.1 GHz. 4x Anti-Aliasing & 4x Anisotropic filtering are on. My draw distance is set at 200m.

My system is based on an ASUS K8V-deluxe mobo, with 2GB of Corsair TWINX-3200C2PRO, and an Athlon 64 running at 2.4 GHz. I am running Win XP SP2.

Does that answer your questions?
