This is starting to bother me now. Plus this is probably a dumb question. Where do you go for the complete resource of forum help? Is there such a place? Im starting to feel retarded because I cannot get make my slurl clickable. Someone else's you just click on their pic and it takes you to their slurl page. That is what I really want.
Now I have to figure out why it took me so long to ask, lol. Well maybe not.

a) you need VB code on b) you need to click on the VB code link at the bottom and look for the way to insert urls. But to spell it out here, you use an open bracket (the not shifted form of {) then url then the close bracket (the not shifted form of }) then your slurl then you end with the open bracket /url closed bracket. If you follow me. My VB code is set to on so if I type it out its gonna try to make a url link and I haven't quite graduated to how to force it to ignore it, if there is a way to do so. I'm sure someone will pipe up with a much clearer explanation, probably all nicely done with VB code turned off so they can show a clean example, but if they don't, feel free to IM me in world any time after I get home tomorrow afternoon and I'll be happy to walk you through it. There are also more bits you have to do to making the picture be the link and/or having the name of your store be the link rather than the whole slurl address. Char

http://slurl.com/about.phpHave you checked this url? That site has a link to http://slurl.com/build.php for building a slurl. http://forums.secondlife.com/profile.php?do=editoptions is the place to go to set the edit options for the forums, if you haven't done that yet. At the bottom in Miscellaneous , Message Editor Options, set that to either Standard pr Enhanced. You can just paste an url, and it should work as a link, like http://slurl.com/secondlife/Ahern/50/50/50 but if you want to have the link display text other than the url, like Test Slurl using the editor link icon will halp you with that. The vBulletin codes are shown at http://forums.secondlife.com/misc.php?do=bbcode

Forum time setting is near the bottom of http://forums.secondlife.com/profile.php?do=editoptions a little above the Message Editor Options. You can set the time zone and whether to used standard or daylight savings time ---- If you want to make a picture be a clickable link here, when you use the Url icon, and it asks you for the text to display for the link, put the [IMG]and the picture url and a closing [/img/ instead of use plain text .

Thank you so much Charlene, Suzanne and Intent,
This is great, I feel so much better. Yay to the power of networking!
I had looked at the edit options area before but missed that drop down menu.
Hopefully this thread helps others who have been reluctant to ask.
