i saw that this honest question of a thread was closed, nowhere did the user post that the other user was an assbag or otherwords, they were upset and asking an honest question lets review why it was closed From: someone Private discussions – the forums are a public area for the Second Life community’s use.
ok user was asking the community a honest question From: someone Individuals who have a dispute with each other have other channels of communication to discuss their differences or communicate – private messaging, IM within Second Life, or chatting within Second Life.
yes there was a dispute, but it wasnt relayed in the forums, it was an HONEST question From: someone Also, threads that are addressed to a single individual or group are inappropriate on the forums, this includes slander or "naming names" in a posts title, starting polls about a particular resident or group, etc.
noone was singled out so remember kiddies dont ask a question or the forum nazi's will close it down due to the fact that there were 2 ppl involved

Forum Censorship
03-08-2006 02:05
Yes they censor the forums. I ran a forum before....you have to censor them. After a while it can get pretty automatic and you can easily get lazy and not correctly interpret a situation and cut someones post that you probably shouldnt have and suffer permanent resentment from people for your one mistake against them. I was E-stalked in another game for over 2 years by a highly sophisticated hacker for this kind of mistake. I of course don't run any forums anymore and am even a bit scared of posting in them. I have found if my posts don't get through that it is best to make a copy of what i am trying to say and then switch it all around in format and resubmit it under a variety of different headings and into other new threads until it "slips through" the keen eye of those who control our access to knowledge. Eventually you can get everything you need to say out there and feel like you still live in a country that supports freedom of word usage One day we as a species will evolve to the remarkable conclusion that we all had it right as kids... Sticks and Stones may break your bones, but names (words) can never hurt you (if you don't let them). Increase the peace people and stop fearing language. The only thing you need to fear is objects coming at you at a high rate of speed. have fun everyone and be nice

Just as that thread was closed for naming names (you'll notice that the OP's post was edited too), this one will likely be closed for resurrecting it, which is also "against the rules". *Edit: 'sides you godwin'd right out of the gate.
