So... Update Wednesday is once again upon us - we know the grid's set to come back up at 12pm. But we also know that this never happens. So how long do you reckon the Update Wednesday Chaos is going to go on for?!
EVERYONE voting for the time CLOSEST to the actual, final grid return (not popping it back up, finding "issues" and closing it) according to the announcement in the Linden forum will receive L$100.

I voted for 5pm because in my timezone, that's about the time I give up waiting and go to bed. It'll be just my luck that SL comes back two mnutes after that.

Actually last two weeks I got back in right on time, but everyone else was locked out week before last and last week everyone made it in and some lost loads of inventory cause the 5 min rule didn't apply to ones who crashed in 5 seconds and were locked out of picking objects up....sooo the real question is how long will it stay up after 12??? lol

I'm going with later than that - based on the theory that they already gave us an estimated time of completion and that immediately signals that they will not make the deadline since it seems the onlyt time they give us a dead line is when they already know it will be many hours later before they bother to reopen the grid.

no matter when the update is due.. it takes you almost all day to get used to all the crashing, all the bugs... all missing items in your inventory, no textures loading, something is always missing... ect... always the same thing..
Then the grid will go down again for two more house because nobody can teleport, or something...and then you have to download another patch to fix the problems... and so on
When you are getting ready to the "new update" is time for the next one lol

no fair..cash was offered AFTER I voted and conceeded it will open at noon then crash/close/lock/glitch/erase/wipe out...........now I can't revote my ACTUAL time which would be approx.....noon tommorrow.....Just Kidding btw!

I voted 1pm assuming you meant the first time it comes back up. Will you be running separate polls for the number of rolling updates and grid restarts that are executed under 1.12?

I say before or slightly after 12p SLT. I think the Lindens will be doing a bit more testing themselves this time.. (At least I hope so)
