When you put your cursor over the tabs in the search dialog, the ones that say All, Classifieds, Events, Popular Places, Land Sales, Places, People, or Groups, you get hovertips that say All, Classifieds, Events, Popular Places, Land Sales, Places, People, or Groups.
That is so useful it fills my heart with joy just thinking about it.

Looks like they created a reusable tab control (tooltips seem to be on all tabs). Maybe they implemented this for when you can't see all the tab label text. *shrugs*

From: Hugsy Penguin Maybe they implemented this for when you can't see all the tab label text. And for when you can. nimrod is right, control enter not only doesn't shout it doesn't even say. I am finding the system to go unresponsive to the mouse intermittently, not respond to mousclicks, producing no hovertips, etc., then it works again.

Sometimees when I alt+click and zoom, I have to re-do it because I can't click on anything. I've even had it happen in the find window where the UI doesn't even respond, I have to Ctrl+F out. Edit: Also, shift+enter doesn't. It gets annoying when you type fast and hold shift by accident while doing ? or !.

Hmm, it just logged me out as a result of mangled network data. I was using the latest version of the god mode program, which sits in between the client and the SL servers, that might account for the mangled network data. But the unresponsiveness problem was happening before I installed the godmode program.

I just had to log out because I TP'ed home and then couldn't move. I got that error when I tried to use the old God mode with the new client. The new God mode works so far. From: someone And for when you can. Too lazy to write code to see if the entire tab label is visible and it's not that big a deal.

From: Hugsy Penguin it's not that big a deal. It the grand scheme of things nothing about SL is a big deal. It just bugged me. I would like to not see hovertips that provide no useful information. It's not giving me hovertips on the tabs in the IM window, where they are currently not able to display the entire group name in the tab. I note that in the search dialog we can now tab from area to area, and use the arrow keys to go from one tab to the next.

From: SuezanneC Baskerville It the grand scheme of things nothing about SL is a big deal. It just bugged me. I would like to not see hovertips that provide no useful information. Doesn't bother me, but everone has their peeves. One of mine is the too-thin grabable border to resize a window. From: SuezanneC Baskerville It's not giving me hovertips on the tabs in the IM window, where they are currently not able to display the entire group name in the tab. That's odd. I get the hovertips in this case. From: SuezanneC Baskerville I note that in the search dialog we can now tab from area to area, and use the arrow keys to go from one tab to the next. I still think all the tabs are the same code (whether they be top-side or bottom-side tabs).
