Friends page not accurate

I'm not seeing accurate info on this page: https://secondlife.com/community/friends.phpI see people listed, but when I log into the game they are not there. This is not an issue of them just having logged off, from what I can see, it persists for some time. A bit frustrating, I hop on to see someone specific and they're not there. Kyushu p.s. I am not using a proxy server, and it's not an issue of my browser having it cached as far as I know. |

I know. I look at my friends list, and I say to myself "These aren't my friends; they're just using me. As soon as they grow bored with my desperate, attention-whore antics, they'll drop me like a hot potato." And then I go to the preview grid and cry flexible, locally-lit tears.
Please fix this, LL.

Maybe it's related to the problem of receiving SL IMs in my email -- i've gotten them out of order, and sometimes after up to 30 minutes delay. From: Pol Tabla they're just using me. I've found it oddly satisfying to know that there were friends, there for me, waiting 24/7 for weeks on end.
Illusory perhaps, but strangely... ok, somehow.
Maybe it's all a big secret... and they really DID log out of RL, snugly happy in eternal virtuality forever?

Don't quote me on this, but my assumption was that the discrepancy between the friends list on the website and the one inworld may be due to the fact that some friends who are not inworld may yet be logged into the website. |
